Common College Resources

Collegewide Career Services

Website

Most colleges offer a career center that anyone attending can access. These career centers provide resources to students such as resume review, interview prep, career closet, and more. We strongly recommend looking into what your specific college / university career center has to offer.

Department Specific Career Services

Website

Depending on your college, some places have a career center dedicated to students in a program or in a specific major such as Engineering Career Services or Business Career Services. These centers tailor opportunities and resources to students in these programs such as access to specific opportunities, career fairs with companies targeting students in a specific academic program, and a more tailorized recruiting strategy depending on one's career field of interest. We strongly recommend looking into if your academic department has a tailorized career center and signing up for their newsletters as well.
