Rotational Programs #

Rotational Programs are often 1 - 2 year programs that companies offer for new college graduates in order to explore different teams and gain the technical experiences for industry work. There are a variety of rotational programs from technology, product management, marketing, and more! Applications for rotational development programs tend to open late summer and wrap up during winter. Below is a list of some common rotational programs.

United Airlines Early Career Digital Leadership Program

ECDLP is a 2-year rotational program with four (4) 6-month roles where you will work across at least two separate portfolios in both technical and process-oriented roles.

GapTech Rotational Program

GRP trains curious and innovative Entry Level Software Engineers to code and develop best-in-class retail technology for our brands, employees, and customers around the globe. The program is 18-months long and consists of 3 team rotations.

Northern Trust Rotational Development Program

Externship Programs #

Externships are typically 2 - 3 day or week-long informal programs that let students gain exposure to technical skills and what it’s like working at the company. Oftentimes, companies use their externship programs to recruit students for internships the following summer and can offer expedited interviews during their programs.

Microsoft New Technologists

CodePath SITE

SITE is a 10-week program where underrepresented minorities in tech get hands on experience in web development, technical work experience from partnering companies - such as Workday and CourseHero - and receive mentorship from industry mentors

Synchrony BLP Externship
