Rotational Programs #

Rotational Programs are often 1 - 2 year programs that companies offer for new college graduates in order to explore different teams and gain the technical experiences for industry work. There are a variety of rotational programs from technology, product management, marketing, and more! Applications for rotational development programs tend to open late summer and wrap up during winter. Below is a list of some common rotational programs.

United Airlines Early Career Digital Leadership Program


ECDLP is a 2-year rotational program with four (4) 6-month roles where you will work across at least two separate portfolios in both technical and process-oriented roles.

GapTech Rotational Program


GRP trains curious and innovative Entry Level Software Engineers to code and develop best-in-class retail technology for our brands, employees, and customers around the globe. The program is 18-months long and consists of 3 team rotations.

Northern Trust Rotational Development Program


Northern Trust offers 5 unique development tracks - Technology, Credit, Corporate Finance, Investments, and Global Fund Services - that are one to two-year long development programs. Open to new grads and anyone with 0 - 3 years of work experience.

Capital One Development Programs


Capital One provides a variety of two-year rotational programs in fields such as software engineering, finance, product management, and more!

PNC Technology Development Program


PNC offer development programs, ranging from 12 - 36 months, for recent graduates in fields such as software engineering, product innovation, banking, and more!

Google Associate Product Management Program


A two-year rotational program that provides recent graduates and early-career professionals with the opportunity to learn from experienced product managers at Google.

Externship Programs #

Externships are typically 2 - 3 day or week-long informal programs that let students gain exposure to technical skills and what it’s like working at the company. Oftentimes, companies use their externship programs to recruit students for internships the following summer and can offer expedited interviews during their programs.

Microsoft New Technologists


New Technologists is a 7-week innovation academy hosted in Microsoft HQ in Redmond, WA where you get to learn the product life cycle and create a prototype solution with mentorship from Senior Staff Engineers at Microsoft

CodePath SITE


SITE is a 10-week program where underrepresented minorities in tech get hands on experience in web development, technical work experience from partnering companies - such as Workday and CourseHero - and receive mentorship from industry mentors

Synchrony BLP Externship


A 4-day program hosted at Synchrony’s HQ in Stamford, CT where participants engage with learning about Synchrony’s business, the credit services and payment industry through a series of networking events from the leadership team, case studies, and more!

Accenture Elevate To Innovate


A virtual 2-day professional development experience where participants can explore the world of technology innovation and professional services

BCG Bridge to Consulting Workshop


Workshop for first and second year undergraduates to explore life as an Associate at Boston Consulting Group

Bain & Company Building Entrepreneurial Leaders (BEL)


Weeklong externship for second-year minority students to gain hands on experience with consulting. Participants recieve a stipen upon completion and opportunity to interview for consulting intern roles

Bain & Company CREW


A 1.5-day program for second year female undergraduates to gain hands on experience and mentorship for consulting.

Pinterest Apprenticeship Programs


Year-long programs at Pinterest for candidates that come from non-traditional backgrounds in technology. Completion of program could result into a full-time offer at Pinterest.

Uber Career Prep SWE Fellowship


A mentorship and technical interview prep program for students wanting to explore careers in Software Engineering and Uber.

IBM Accelerate Summer Program
